Beginning January 2012 the Heard County Commissioners Meeting will be held on the 4th Thursday of evey month at 6:30pm.

Commission Chair, June Jackson and I are on a committee to help bring broadband county wide for Heard County. We would like to hear thoughts pro and con from the citizens. You can email either one of us at - junejackson@heardcountyga.com or sandiallendist5@gmail.com  

In the past few months the Board of Commissioners have approved 3 cell tower locations in the District 5 area. This will help tremendously with reception that we have been lacking for a long time. I look forward to seeing the construction begin. This has been a number 1 priority since I was first elected and I have worked digently and PATIENTLY to see this come to fruitition. This will eventually lead to Broadband service in our area also. Thank you to the people who have let me know how important this effort has been to you.
